What Forkful is

Forkful is an independent recipe website. We publish clear, reliable versions of the dishes people search for most — from baked chicken breast and banana bread to lasagna and flan — in English and Spanish.

How we choose our recipes

We start from real search data. We regularly review Google Trends to see which recipes people around the world are looking for, and we write the dishes that keep coming up. That is why our home page ranks recipes by search interest instead of by our personal favourites.

How we write them

Each recipe is built on classic, proven methods and standard ingredient ratios, with exact quantities, step-by-step instructions, storage advice and answers to the most common questions. We use AI tools to help research and draft content, and every recipe is reviewed by our editor before it is published.

Every recipe has a servings selector that recalculates the ingredients for the number of people you are cooking for, and our free kitchen tools convert cups, spoons and ounces into grams and millilitres.
